Barny’s Fine Wines & Ales is the craft beer lover’s go-to spot for rare and special release beers.
Barny’s is also a spot to get some really expensive beers if you’re into that thing. I wouldn’t be so rude as to ask how they obtain them but look at the case on the back wall and you’ll see some seriously special beers. These range from $60 to north of $300.
If you have cash burning a hole in your pocket and you want a unique beer experience that you can brag to your friends about then Barny’s is a good place to stop by.
The Best Of Australian Beer
There are some great beers from Victoria and even across the ditch in New Zealand but pay close attention to the likes of Bacchus from Queensland. You’ll find Barny’s stocking some of their truly unique, small batch specialty beers.
A World Tour Of Beer
Aside from our domestic brewers there’s a fantastic selection of imports, with a broad range of Belgian beers, an enormous number of America’s finest exports, as well as some up and coming British breweries.
Also represented are the edgier global gypsy brewing labels as well as some smaller international breweries you might not have heard of before.
There’s definitely something for everyone, whether you’re after a sessionable six pack, something new and exciting, or something to make you the most loved person at a bottle share.
Barny’s is packed from wall to wall and ceiling to floor with fantastic beer and an inspiring range of wine. It’s also good to see so much refrigerator space devoted to Australian beer.
Mix Of Exotic And Local
While the range is awesome in the truest sense of the world and the sensational imports are probably what attracts many people to Barny’s Fine Wines & Ales, the freshest options are going to be the local beers found in the back fridges.
While I’d recommend picking up a little something special; perhaps a bold American or exotic European beer, I’d also suggest combining it with something cold, fresh and local.
The store does the odd deal too, often on mixed six packs, so keep an eye out either on their website or their social media pages. Alternatively, next time you’re nearby just pop in and see what’s happening.
There aren’t many bottle shops that could label themselves a destination but for the range of otherwise impossible to find beer, Barny’s is certainly well on its way to becoming that.
