Beer
This is what it’s all about. The best beer in Sydney. The aim here is to provide thoughtful analysis of beers made by local breweries. It’s also to advocate for independent beer.
SydneyBeer aims to document the progress of local beer which is why capturing and reflecting on the more ephemeral or small batch beers is just as important as objectively analysing those that will have a permanent place in venues and bottle shops.
Many of these beers will be available all year round, others only for a few weeks or months. Some are staples, some carry extra significance because they represent a particular milestone in Sydney’s beer journey.
Independent or craft beer is about more than just the liquid in the bottle. It’s about the culture and the community. It’s about appreciating quality ingredients. It’s about helping the little guy and celebrating the passion that goes into each beer.
