Breweries
Sydney is incredible for its density of top quality breweries. More are opening all the time. From national brands to brewpubs, cuckoo brewers and nano-breweries, the diversity of producers is endlessly fascinating. They are what makes beer in Sydney truly great.
We arguably have the nation’s beer capital in Marrickville. The surrounding inner west suburbs and the northern beaches are not far behind. Then there’s the western suburbs and Sydney’s south which are making headway in producing beer that rivals anywhere else in the country.
While this will never be comprehensive, it will feature some of the best and most interesting Sydney breweries from the city’s fast-growing beer scene.
