Springing from BrewPack in Smeaton Grange, Stockade Brew Co have changed people’s opinions in recent years. All by brewing excellent beer.
Experienced Brewers And Advanced Equipment
The brewery itself is comprised of some of the most advanced equipment, as you’d expect from one of the country’s leading contract brewing operations. With a high-tech brewhouse, intense packaging lines and even a lab to ensure quality, the Stockade setup is one to make many other brewers look on in envy.
Stockade are in somewhat of a unique position in the Sydney craft beer scene, in that they’re well outside the beer hotspots of the Inner West and Northern Beaches. They do, however, possess some of the most experienced brewing talent in the Sydney Metro area.
The core Stockade lineup is primarily sessionable beers, with the 8 Bit IPA winning many plaudits. Many people’s initial reaction was one of surprise at the quality of the beer but now such a high standard has become expected.
This expectation is particularly the case when it comes to their one-off or limited release beers. Stockade Brew Co have already built up quite a reputation for their adventurous styles, with some beers in particular garnering significant acclaim.
From their Peachy Keen and Plum Perfect sour beers through to the sought after Old Money Imperial Stout and GABS 2017 People’s Choice Winner, Mountie Maple Imperial Stout, Stockade are resonating with the pointier end of the craft beer market.
Developing A Brand
Since 2015 the brand has developed in the minds of Sydney’s beer drinkers. They’ve now reached into other states and they certainly have the capacity to meet increasing demand.
