It started with an Aussie-Italian love affair. Aussie importers of Italian wine and beer hatched a plan with an Italian brewer and Nomad Brewing was born.

Of course, there was a lot of back and forth and hard work between hatching the plan and the birth of Nomad. It was a passion for good beer and the thirst among Australian beer drinkers that provided the motivation.
The importers, Experience IT, have long been committed to the craft beer community and with the brewing knowledge of Birra del Borgo brewer, Leonardo di Vicenzo, they were able to make it a reality.
Nomad Brewing’s home is Sydney’s Northern Beaches and brewing operations are run by Brooks Caretta, an alumni of Birra del Borgo.
The Italian influence is obvious in their beers. They have a rustic charm and showcase full flavours and aromas without being shouty about it.
From the bottle design to the liquid itself, Nomad beers are understated in a very classy way. They are elegant and show off some of the best local ingredients.
They’re perfect beers to pair with food and they capture the essence of Italian culinary culture.
Quality ingredients are combined and presented in a way that complements a variety of food. There are no overpowering flavours.
Nowhere is this approach exemplified more than in their Long Trip Saison.
Nomad are a welcome addition to the Sydney craft beer scene and fast becoming a favourite among beer geeks and foodies alike.
